‎During his interview with Real Madrid TV, the winger reflected on the team’s preparation: "We have worked very well this week and we knew we were going to win." He also admitted: "It has not been a good season, but we are working and in every match we can already change things looking ahead to next season, where I am sure we will return to the top."
‎The match highlighted his attacking quality. Operating from the left flank, he broke the deadlock after combining with Gonzalo Garcia. He then doubled the lead by linking up effectively with Jude Bellingham before finishing with precision.
‎With Kylian Mbappe absent due to injury, Vinicius stepped up as the focal point in attack, delivering when it mattered most.
‎He later looked ahead to the upcoming fixture, saying: "We are going to work very well this week to produce a match like this one." The next test comes against Barcelona at the Spotify Camp Nou, where Alvaro Arbeloa’s team must win to delay their rivals’ title celebrations.
‎Vinicius now has 21 goals in 51 matches this season, maintaining strong individual numbers despite the team’s overall inconsistency.
