Cristiano Ronaldo Jr Eyes Europe Move as Real Madrid Lead Race for Rising Star

‎A move back to Europe could be on the horizon for Cristiano Ronaldo Jr, who is reportedly leaning away from joining the senior setup at Al-Nassr. Despite the possibility of lining up with his father, the teenager is said to be prioritizing long-term growth at a top European academy.

‎The 15-year-old forward has been a standout performer in Al-Nassr’s youth ranks, maintaining a strong scoring record. While many anticipated his promotion to the first team, he is instead focused on testing himself in a more competitive environment abroad.
‎Interest from major European clubs continues to grow. Real Madrid are among those keeping close tabs, alongside Bayern Munich and Paris Saint-Germain. The appeal of competing at the highest level appears central to his decision-making.
‎A return to Spain looks increasingly plausible. Ronaldo Jr recently spent time training with Real Madrid’s Under-16 squad, an experience that has intensified speculation surrounding a permanent switch. The connection to Madrid, where his father built part of his legacy, adds further intrigue.
‎Choosing Europe also reflects a desire to grow independently. Although the prospect of sharing the pitch with Cristiano Ronaldo has sentimental value, there are concerns about the inevitable comparisons. Given his father’s impact at Manchester United and Real Madrid, expectations would be immense. Meanwhile, Borussia Dortmund and Sporting CP are also reportedly in the mix.
‎At international level, the young forward has already made his mark. Representing Portugal’s youth teams, he featured for both the Under-15 and Under-17 sides, winning a World Cup title with the latter in November. A transition to a European academy is viewed as key to refining his technical qualities.
‎His goal-scoring achievements further highlight his promise. While at Juventus youth level, he recorded 58 goals in 23 matches for the U-9s. That form continued in Saudi Arabia, where he netted 56 times in 27 appearances for Al-Nassr’s U-15 team. As his father approaches the 2026 World Cup, the next chapter for Ronaldo Jr is beginning to take shape.
